Our Young Learners English course is specially designed for students between the ages 5 to 13 years old. The program aims to develop younger students’ language proficiency to an internationally recognized standard provided by Cambridge ESOL Examinations.
Level & Term_____________________________________________
There are three levels for Young Learners, which are Starters, Movers and Flyers. Students taking these examinations will receive an international certificate from Cambridge University, UK. From January a new term will commence every alternate month (January, March, May, etc. as well as a summer camp every August.
Teaching Method__________________________________________
The curriculum is based on the modern methods of Total Physical Responses, using pictures, realia, posters, videos, craft projects, chants and rhymes, to help create a fun and active learning atmosphere.
Here in Briton, young learners will find a supportive atmosphere to learn English. We use a variety of methods in our teaching processes specifically aimed at providing the necessary motivation for younger children in elementary school.
Cambridge ‘Flyers’ Certificate________________________________
The Young Learner English test ‘Flyers’ is designed to assess the English for primary learners between the ages of 7-12. The test aims to measure students’ ability accurately and fairly, and promote and encourage effective learning and teaching. The test has three components: Reading & Writing, Listening and Speaking.
